Lamont Raymond “Ray” to anyone who’s shared a bottle or a battlefield. Gifted hired blade with three centuries behind a weathered forty-five-year-old face; hard to kill, dry as dust. Escorts Princess Adel north after Claire’s last contract, then stays on as Stonhill’s Western Crusader.
“Lamont Raymond. Hapless Crusader. Call me Ray.”
